A check presentation will be held in December.<\/p><p>Misty Farmer, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish South Carolina, said TD SYNNEX <em>Share the Magic<\/em> is an integral partner in Make-A-Wish South Carolina\u2019s mission.<\/p><p>\u201cThere is no aspect of our operation that TD SYNNEX hasn\u2019t impacted throughout the years,\u201d Farmer said. \u201cTo give you some perspective, last year we granted 255 wishes, and Share the Magic funded 57 of the 255 wishes.\u201d<\/p><p>TD SYNNEX <em>Share the Magic<\/em> recently hosted a celebration event Oct. 7 on the Grand Lawn at Hartness, east of Greenville. Around 1,400 people from across North America attended the event, which featured a silent auction, presentation program and special music entertainment.<\/p><p>The initiative\u2019s final fundraising event of the year will be a golf tournament held Oct. 28 at Green Valley Country Club.<\/p><p>Founded in Greenville in 2011 by TD SYNNEX President of North America, Peter Larocque, Share the Magic has raised more than $20 million to help children in need. The initiative has also established chapters in Canada, Colorado, Illinois, Arizona, San Antonio and the Bay Area of California.<\/p><p>Gary Palenbaum, Executive Vice President of Product Management at TD SYNNEX, said it\u2019s very rewarding to be part of the initiative that gives back to children in need.<\/p><p>\u201cWhen you hand out $300,000 or $400,000 to charity, that\u2019s moving \u2014 that\u2019s sizable.
