TD SYNNEX Share the Magic<\/em><\/strong> raised $1.06 million during its 14th year for children\u2019s charities<\/strong> located in the Upstate.<\/p>\n

The funds raised were distributed to four charities during a check presentation on Dec. 6. The recipients were Make-A-Wish SC<\/a>, $277,906.77; Pendleton Place<\/a>, $272,031.66; Clement\u2019s Kindness<\/a>, $258,792.10; and A Child\u2019s Haven<\/a>, $251,241.20.<\/p>\n

The year-long charitable fundraising initiative raised money during multiple community events including a celebration event at Fluor Field in October. Other events held in 2024 included the TD SYNNEX Share the Magic<\/em> Day at the Greenville Drive<\/a> and the TD SYNNEX Share the Magic<\/em> Golf Tournament<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Peter Larocque, retired North America president for TD SYNNEX, started the TD SYNNEX Share the Magic<\/em> in 2011. He said it is truly inspiring to see the continued generosity of the TD SYNNEX family and the profound impact the four charities have on children and families in the Upstate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis initiative is a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together for a shared purpose,\u201d Larocque said. \u201cThe funds raised not only sustain vital programs but also provide hope, healing and life-changing experiences for those who need them most.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reyna Thompson<\/a> recently stepped in as the new North America President for TD SYNNEX. She reaffirmed that even under new leadership, TD SYNNEX will continue to be a supporter of the Greenville community and the Share the Magic<\/em> charities. <\/p>\n

Since its inception, TD SYNNEX Share the Magic<\/em> has raised more than $30 million across its eight chapters throughout North America. Bob Stegner<\/a>, outgoing Senior Vice President of North America Marketing at TD SYNNEX, said Share the Magic<\/em> allows TD SYNNEX to create meaningful change by supporting organizations that directly improve the lives of children and families. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis initiative reflects the heart of our company and I\u2019m proud to see how our team, partners and community come together year after year to make an incredible impact,\u201d Stegner said.

Honorable Mention<\/h6>\n

During the Dec. 9 event, it was announced that TD SYNNEX\u2019s Greenville office located at 39 Pelham Ridge Drive will be renamed the Peter Larocque Center<\/strong>. This will be done to honor Peter Larocque<\/a>, recently retired president<\/a> of North America for TD SYNNEX and founder of TD SYNNEX Share the Magic<\/em><\/a>.

Children\u2019s Charities<\/h6>\n

The four children\u2019s charities located in Upstate South Carolina that are supported by TD SYNNEX Share the Magic<\/em> include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>A Child\u2019s Haven<\/b>: A nonprofit that provides therapy for developmentally challenged, at-risk preschoolers<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Clement\u2019s Kindness<\/b>: A nonprofit that helps Upstate families impacted by pediatric cancer and serious blood disorders<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Make-A-Wish South Carolina<\/b>: A nonprofit that grants wishes for children fighting critical illnesses<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Pendleton Place<\/b>: An emergency shelter for children and teens experiencing homelessness and foster care
