*Editor’s Note: Cisco Live‘s dates have been rescheduled to June 16-17, 2020. The information below reflects what to expect during this virtual event.

Even before the pandemic made its impact around the world, we were in the midst of a transformation. Organizations sought to modernize their systems and implement new technologies that allowed easier access, securely, from anywhere. The reality of the pandemic is that it may have leapfrogged many of these initiatives and how we do business in the future. As Cisco Live goes virtual, these are the topics that are top of mind for partners and customers alike.

The EDGE360 editorial team is rounding up the topics and sessions occurring during this year’s event with a focus on how business will change in a post-COVID world. The good news is that many Cisco partners and distributors like SYNNEX Comstor have been focused on a transformation in how they build and grow relationships. In these cases, they are steps ahead, ready to deliver. For those looking to learn more, Cisco Live U.S. will be 100 percent digital, featuring over 40 broadcasted sessions of content over four channels.

Here is a quick preview:

Digital Transformation: Let’s Go!

A true transformation requires continuous rethinking and reinventing, according to Alvio Barrios, Cisco’s SVP of Customer Experience. This is where the customer experience begins and SYNNEX Comstor walks hand-in-hand with partners along their Cisco journey.

As an extension of Cisco Live, the team has created Cisco CX: Let’s Go, which helps build your path and connects you to a Cisco CX during the digital event to build your own personalized schedule.

The Impact of IoT: What to Watch During Cisco Live

Patty Medberry, Senior Manager, Product Marketing for Cisco IoT, highlights what to watch for at Cisco Live as it relates to the Internet of Things (IoT). She notes that many organizations are focused on business continuity during these turbulent times and that may be one of the drivers for IoT success in the future. IoT devices will account for 50 percent of all network devices by 2023 and will enable automation to drive efficiency.

From warehouses and distribution centers, to surveillance, to safety, IoT will help connect devices to the network and provide real-time data for decision making. Examples of these successful use cases will be shared throughout Cisco Live sessions.
