Part of any company’s success is the ability to give back to those who need it through charity events, foundations, fundraisers, and other opportunities throughout the year. One of the many ways that TD SYNNEX chooses to give back is through the Share the Magic Foundation and the upcoming Ragnar Relay.

With six chapters across the United States and Canada, the goal is to help children and families. The Colorado chapter specifically raises funds and support for the Children’s Hospital of Colorado Foundation (CHCF) and the Hope for the Warriors (HOPE) veterans organization.

Next month, from June 10-11, 24 TD SYNNEX employees and families are going the extra mile to raise funds for these two fantastic organizations by participating for the fourth year in the Ragnar Trail Relay, a relay run/adventure covering 360 miles.

Although the run covers a great number of miles, the actual running is spread out like a relay between the two days and the eight participants on each team. There are three runs that each account for 15.1 miles. To relax and recover between runs, there is a base camp village where everyone can get together for smores and camping.

Kira Moore, Sales Manager, Security Solutions at TD SYNNEX, explains, “It really does bring runners from all different groups and people who have never even run before, but who want to be a part of this bigger event, together.” In fact, running isn’t even required; walking is perfectly acceptable. The point is to collaborate to complete the course, and in doing so, to raise funds for charity.

Despite missing a year due to COVID-19, this is the fourth year TD SYNNEX partners have participated, and the first that partners with Share the Magic. The Share the Magic partnership has been an exciting addition for those who have participated since the beginning and those who are new this year. I

As the goal is to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Colorado and Hope for Warriors, TD SYNNEX is looking for companies to sponsor the event. No athleticism is necessary. Sponsors get their logos placed on clothing and banners throughout the event, as well as mentions and promotions during any press coverage. Most importantly, every cent donated goes directly to CHCF and HOPE.

Often, giving back to the community is only thought about during the holidays, but there is important work to be done throughout the year. The Ragnar Relay participants are gearing up and preparing to take on the trails of Snowmass, Colorado in June. Meanwhile, there is still plenty of time to get involved and help benefit this charitable cause.
